WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THE MISFITS?

We covered The Misfits with fresh coat of 2026 dystopian punk industrial paint — imagine the sound of The Misfits sticking a fork into an electrical socket.

They were a gateway band for us and always omnipresent in our home state.

This was our chance to check something off the bucket list, pay tribute to good ‘ol Glenn Danzig and friends, and do something exciting to ourselves as fans and musicians with material that is usually performed the same way by the same types of bands.

Instead of leaning on “woah-oh” choruses, we’ve leaned into the heavier material and given extra attention to reinventing some forgotten tracks. Instead of a traditional four-piece band imitating the vocal style of the Evil Elvis, we’re a two-piece drummerless band with a trans-frontwoman bringing her own unique vocal style.

We hope this is as exciting to listen to as it was for us to make.
